Fendi P and MonstaBeatz Team Up on New Mixtape "Monsta P"

By Cole Ashby, November 7, 2026

The project

Fendi P has released Monsta P, an 11-track project produced by MonstaBeatz. The New Orleans rapper is a longtime signee of Jet Life Recordings, the label Curren$y started in 2009 with his partner Mousa Hamdan. MonstaBeatz brings a résumé that, per the release, includes records for Curren$y, Lil Wayne and Takeoff.

The release pitches the pairing as Fendi's "insistent, yet understated flows and blasé boasts floating above Monsta's ear-teasing synths and gauzy atmospheres." Fendi carries all 11 tracks alone. There are no guest features.

The singles

Two singles came ahead of the tape. "Favors and Funerals" is built on what the release calls nonchalant flexes about Fendi's high-flying lifestyle. "Cassette Deck 2" is a sequel to a fan-favorite Fendi single from 2013. Both arrived with official videos on the Jet Life Recordings YouTube channel.

The release also points to "Monsta Money," described as a haunting anthem with a helium soul sample and choirs, and "Monsta Blues," which brings in horns from Fendi's hometown.

The road here

Fendi P signed to Jet Life more than a decade ago. He drew early attention with Late Nights, Early Mornings, which featured Curren$y, Lil Wayne and Project Pat. In 2020 he and Curren$y released the joint album Smokin' Patnas, and in 2022 he followed with Corner Boy vs. Fendi.

The last year has stayed busy. Fendi linked with DJ.fresh for World's Freshest P, part of DJ.fresh's The Tonite Show series, and teamed with fellow Jet Life artist Marco Denelle on Duvaleans, released earlier in 2026. Monsta P is out now.
