Ella Mai has released 3two, a surprise three-song EP arriving on her 32nd birthday, November 6. The project continues the birthday-release tradition she began with 3 in 2024, returning to a compact format after this year's album and touring cycle.

The EP contains "Favourite T-Shirt," "Over and Over" and "All I Know." The announcement presents the three songs as connected perspectives on a relationship, moving through memories of a past connection, the pull of returning to someone and the comfort of affection that does not always need to be spoken.

Three songs, one relationship thread

"Favourite T-Shirt" opens the sequence with a closet clear-out that brings back memories of a former relationship. In the release's description, the shirt becomes a reminder of feelings that remain even when someone is trying to move on.

"Over and Over" follows with a relationship that repeatedly pulls the narrator back in. "All I Know" closes the project on affection and reassurance. Those descriptions outline the EP's narrative without turning a three-song release into a claim about a larger album that has not been announced.

The release is accompanied by a visualizer using behind-the-scenes studio footage. Together, the short tracklist and studio material keep the focus on the new songs rather than a separate tour announcement or an extended edition.

After Do You Still Love Me?

3two follows Mai's third studio album, Do You Still Love Me?, released in February. That record included "Tell Her" and "100," and the announcement says it debuted at No. 44 on the Billboard 200.

Mai spent the year performing across South Africa, Asia and Australia before a North American headline tour that began in July. The 28-date run visited cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Boston, ending in August with her debut at Radio City Music Hall in New York. European and UK performances followed in September.

The new EP closes that stretch with a smaller release: three new love songs, issued together on her birthday.
