Howard Jones said in the announcement: "'Wounds I've Made' is about both acknowledging mistakes and regrets of the past, while also constantly evolving and moving forward. Sometimes change hurts, but it's necessary for self-growth and to avoid being stuck in the past. Some relationships aren't meant to be."
Adam Dutkiewicz said: "We are glad to finally release 'Wounds I've Made.' It's crazy to think that this was one of the first songs I wrote for this project… six years ago! I really hope you guys dig it."
Who is in the project
The announcement identifies Burn Eternal as the reunion project of singer Howard Jones and guitarist/producer Adam Dutkiewicz, who previously worked together in Killswitch Engage between 2002 and 2012. It recounts their earlier New England bands (Blood Has Been Shed for Jones; Aftershock for Dutkiewicz) and Jones' later projects, including Devil You Know, Light The Torch and SION.
The album artwork is by Travis Smith.
