Zoe Gawd Makes “Bad Things” Sound Good

Bad Things Can Be Good from Zoe Gawd

Queens, New York, is a home of many music legends, but there Is one unique rising artist called the city home: the talented Zoe Gawd. Dropping her latest single, “Bad Things,” she welcomes a new single.

As a child, at eight years old, she introduced herself to poetry and began writing. During her teen years, the aspiring artist would observe others perform in homemade studios of friends, which ultimately influenced her to start her music career.

Feeling at home, Zoe Gawd got on the mic, and the rest was history. The beat was “Hiipower” by Kendrick Lamar, and she spits bars written on a notepad.

Focused on things to come, she is at a phase in life where her priorities now include building and growing as an artist and person. Rap legends from her city greatly influenced the Jamaica Queens native.

Zoe Gawd attributes most of her influence from 90’s hip hop; from early Jay-Z, Blueprint, Day in my Lifetime, Hard Knock Life, Nas, AZ, and The Firm. Growing up around Motown music, her versatile sound today only makes sense.

Perfecting her sound, she will continue to bring us new music, and fans are eager to release her two upcoming albums this year. In the meantime, “Bad Things” is available on all DSPs.
