ZayZayy Rocks The “G Shock” On Lock!

Ascending emcee Zayzayy starts off 2021 with single “G Shock.” Zay’s reminisces on his childhood when all he wanted was the signature watch G Shock; but couldn’t afford it.

He also talks about every other possession he wanted that he couldn’t afford. However, he can do that in abundance. The powerful heart felt beat collides with Zay’s melodic vocals creating pure trap bliss at it’s finest.

To go along with the single, is a eerie music video directed by Justin Jacobs. The video showcases from the trap to the glory.

Dimly lit with a nice ride and luxurious items, Zayzayy wants to showcase black people in their natural setting; happy, carefree, and able to enjoy the finer things in life.

Throughout history, black people has been regulated to struggle. Zayzayy wants to help change that narrative by telling his story through music.

“I’ve been through a lot in life, like many black people,” he said. Zay continued with, “every time black people become successful, somebody calls us ‘bougie.’ Why is that? Why can’t black people, especially ones who came from struggle enjoy the finer things in life?

“I’ll find the answer soon and through my music.”

Zayzayy is an artist to keep on your radar in 2021. Not only is he talent but also relatable to listen and vibe to. “G Shock” is rumored to tease his upcoming project but that’s for people to speculate.

In the meantime, you may stream his latest single on all DSP and watch the official video on YouTube.
