Young Shann Shines In Visual Debut “Better”

Young Shann represents VA well on her new radio-ready smash, much-awaited debut single, “Better.” Enlisting RIAA certified platinum producer W$ Kharri (Jacquees, Diggy Simmons) proves to be the recipe for success on this R&B banger. “Better” shows the Virginia-raised songstress echoing what many young women feel when dealing with salvaging a relationship past its expiration date. Shann took to NYC to shoot the tantalizing video alongside her male love interest.

The accompanying video for “Better” is directed by esteemed creative Brittney Briggs and her team at Common Courtesy Studios. Shot in Brooklyn, NY, the visual shows the budding R&B starlet going through the motions with her love interest. At the end of the video, Shann realizes that she was better off keeping to herself.

“With ‘Better,’ I really wanted to explain how it feels to deal with a guy after you see red flags. Sometimes we find ourselves giving more than we are receiving.

-Young Shann

Young Shann’s first release will be a tough act to follow. She does not seem to be slowing down with her team’s help over at No WiFi Music Group. Shann has been receiving some pretty solid co-signs following her latest release. The R&B space is wide open in the DMV, and the budding songstress is excited to make her push. Many of the industry’s established stars have their eyes on Shann’s progress as an artist. She looks forward to taking her music to the next level and starting 2020 with a bang.
