Rvssian And Anuel AA Release ‘No Me Ame’ Visual Honoring Juice WRLD

Puerto Rican rapper/singer Anuel AA alongside Jamaican record producer Rvssian pay homage to Juice WRLD in the music video to their new song, “No Me Ame”. This new release is Juice WRLD’s most recent posthumous feature. Juice Wrld passed away in December of 2019 after an accidental but fatal overdose. The late rapper’s unique voice and intriguing melodies will forever be missed.

Two very different worlds converged beautifully in the making of this track. Juice Wrld was known for representing this new sound of emo-rap in the U.S. Meanwhile, Anuel AA, the self-proclaimed king of Latin trap, has been absolutely dominating the Latin music scene. Both the late Juice Wrld and Anuel have been able to break into the pop mainstream. Juice with his major hit “Lucid Dreams” and Anuel with collaborations with Meek Mill and the infamous Tekashi 6ix9ine. Although, we can’t leave Rvssian out of the shine as he is one of the most prominent Jamaican producers having worked with superstars like Post Malone and Cardi B.

“No Me Ame” released on Friday, April 17 but recorded months prior to Juice WRLD’s passing. In an interview with Billboard, the Jamaican producer speaks about having worked with Anuel at around the same time he was working with Juice WRLD. “I made the track and felt Juice would fit the whole vibe. So I presented to him and it clicked.” Rvssian was the link behind this powerful collaboration. “I like to bring artists I work with together for the culture, no matter the genre,” he tells Billboard. “I felt this collaboration was perfect due to the vibe of the track. And both artists had mutual respect for each other’s art, even coming from two totally different genres.” By the time of Juice WRLD’s death, plans to shoot the video were already underway by January of 2020.

Rvssian and Anuel truly wanted to honor Juice WRLD and pay homage to his artistry. In the visual, we see Juice WRLD rapping his verse as an angel with white wings spreading wide. He stands tall on beautiful white clouds surrounded by an angelic glow. Juice Wrld’s legacy will continue to live on thanks to artists like Rvssian and Anuel AA.
