Rick Ross pays homage to deceased friends in “Fascinated” video

Rick Ross has dropped the visual for “Fascinated” from his Port of Miami 2 album. Rozay never spares the art of luxury, even on his emotion-bearing songs. While rapping with a fiery passion about what fascinates him, listen close enough and visual the pain in his lyrics. The pain of losing a loved one is irreplaceable.

The Clifton Bell-directed video sees Ross reminiscing on all things that intrigued him and his friends growing up. Although fascinated with the lifestyle created for himself through the decisions made to get there, there’s also the idea he feels guilty for flourishing while his loved ones are gone. However, in a way, the two-minute mini-movie pays homage to his deceased and incarcerated friends that risked everything to obtain a certain status.

Port of Miami 2 is a direct sequel to Rick Ross’ debut album Port of Miami. According to Billboard, Rozay’s newest album has accomplished the very first feat that the first POM accomplished. Previously, in August 2006, the Bawse’s debut LP went number 1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart within its first week of release. As of Saturday August 24th, it went number 1. Almost 13 years to the day its predecessor came out. The boss.
