After stunning with recent releases “Graveyards” and “Wade In The Water,” Birmingham rapper Lesane drops the visuals to his latest release “iCarly.” The last video he dropped was “Sticks & Stones,” which dropped in October 2019.
“iCarly” is a display of Lesane’s signature raps as he gives a fluid display of vocals and rap on a deep, dark cut. Moreover, his introspective narrative and effortless performance put him shoulder to shoulder with his contemporaries. The visuals follow Lesane throughout the city in a VHS-style film.
“Balenciaga kicks fucking my feet, but the kics on me look cool,” he raps. Check out “iCarly” below.
The Birmingham-native was spurred on to pursue music from the tender age of 14, having been inspired by Chief Keef, 2PAC, and Kendrick Lamar. He traveled to New York and refined his musical ear while experimenting with emo trap. Furthermore, Lesane stays away from labels, allowing for all sorts of diversity in his music.
