Mozzy Delivers “Big Homie In The Hood” Single

Hailing from Sacramento, Mozzy has been the West Coast’s underground king for quite some time. Through his several years in the rap game, the LA-based artists put out numerous mixtapes that solidified his status. More recently, Mozzy dropped his Internal Affairs project back in March. The 13-track offering allowed him to tour before eventually teasing yet another project. Today, Mozzy shares an emotional ballad titled “Big Homie In The Hood.”

Accompanied by glamorous visuals, Mozzy addresses growing up in the streets and loyalty amongst other things. The music video swaps back and forth from the emcee rapping effortless on the bleachers and parking lot of a barbecue. Moreover, the track samples a Mario classic, “Let Me Love You.” Not only does Mozzy bring on a lyrical onslaught, but the Mikey Rare-directed video is a great addition.

“Big Homie From The Hood” arrives nearly a month removed from “I’ll Never Tell Em Shit.” Furthermore, Mozzy just dropped a project with Tsu Surf titled Blood Cuzzins. The joint effort is one of many collaborations Mozzy has planned to release next year. Check out the music video below.
