G.T. & Babyface Ray Drop “Going Long” Visual

G.T.

G.T. and Babyface Ray is Detroit’s most dynamic duo. The EMPIRE/Motion Gang street rapper (@callmegt) tags his fellow Motion Gang partner in crime, Babyface Ray, for his new single, “Going Long.” The visual for the instant hit shows the two Motor City mainstays going verse for verse on the simple but hard-hitting track. Babyface Ray is coming off the biggest release of his career. COMPLEX named his album in their Best Albums of 2021 (So Far) list this week. G.T. has been bubbling for a minute. He is also 1 of Audiomack’s 10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now. Lately, he’s been prepared to rise to the occasion. After dropping a standout verse on Icewear Vezzo‘s album alongside Lil Yachty, G.T. is not letting up.

“I wrote down my goals and scratching them all off, God willing! First, I prayed for it, then I put action towards my prayer, and now what you see is the result of that.”

– G.T.

The new video shows the two East Side representers flexing in a desert, club, and sweet-looking penthouse. The common theme from most Detroit rappers is their proud nature. They take pride in their accomplishments, and these two artists are no different. G.T. can feel the next level coming, and he is ready for it. Seeing two of his best friends on Billboard charts has given him all the motivation he needs to make his upcoming LP his best one yet. This serves as the second single off his next project. G.T. is one of the most consistent in the city, which will only take him to a higher level.
