Brand New Video: Khalid “Talk”

Khalid releases the music video for “Talk” produced by Disclosure. As he danced through a colorful room, the abundant color scheme is very refreshing. In the opening clip, the singer effortlessly sets a smooth fun tone. With such a bright and polished color pattern the video is pretty serene. Throughout the visual he slightly turns up, and you can witness him clapping and rocking back and forth to the beat of the song, inside a color changing geometric space. The visuals truly matched the high vibrant energy vibe and feel of the single. As we anticipate for April 5th to be the release date of his second studio album, Free Spirit “Talk” happens to be the lead track on it. This album is the follow up to his breakout debut album, American Teen. He is also sharing an album-inspired short film directed by Emil Nava which will be available in selected theaters on April 3rd.

Khalid performed a gospel-inflected composition of “Talk,” alongside with “Better,” from his 2018 EP Suncity, on last weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by Idris Elba.

As he continues to impress us with his enticing visuals and authentic lyricism, Khalid is simply a force to be reckoned with.
