Black Fortune (@BLACKFORTUNE) can’t help himself or the hot streak he’s been on in his new music video for “Sorry Momma”. Since the start of the year, the PG County, Maryland-bred rapper has made major waves. The self-proclaimed Bazooka Boy set the tone early when he dropped a menacing monster jam in DMV’s posse cut of the year, “Horror Story”. Little did fans know that it would only be an appetizer, and lead single for his latest project, OSSHMOB EP. The 32-minute project is an impressive release that showcases Black’s elevation as an emcee with his hard-hitting autobiographical lyrics.
“Sorry Momma” is the EP’s follow-up single and only the second visual release for Black this year. The song itself is a grimy track that portrays Black remorseless for the lifestyle he’s grown accustomed to. His prowess for animated bars on top of hard-hitting production easily makes the single a standout cut. The DMV-based rapper can flat out spit. His music is perfect for today’s industry. The growth is shown in each record and this one will prove to be another notch in the career of Black Fortune.
“VVS on my teeth, I got em custom/When I’m in England, I’m clutchin’ a musket”
The Pearlhouse TV-produced video features the “Gilbert Arenas” rapper posted in one of his old neighborhoods residing in Prince George’s County eating tea and crumpets.
