TMG FRE$H, a fresh new talented artist coming out of the Bay Area, releases the video for “Top Down”. This trendy new track features multi-platinum singer-songwriter, Jeremih and comes hot off of Fre$h’s debut album MARGIELA LANGUAGE, which is out now on TMG Records.
CHILLING “TOP DOWN” WITH TMG FRE$H & JEREMIH
For his fresh release “Top Down”, FRE$H taps renowned director Damien Sandoval who’s worked with artists such as: Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, and Quavo just to name a few. His hot new record provides feel good vibes and is now paired with a visual that brings the track to life. When reflecting on the inspiration behind “Top Down”, the TMG signee goes on to say:
“Me and Jeremih came through together and made a smash that makes you wanna grab a pretty girl and just cruise. Working with Jeremih was great… We had such a good time in the studio making the record and definitely turned up on the set of the music video too. The duo instantly connected and the creative bond was immediately established and showcased within the music. Jeremih also spoke on the collaboration.

Fre$h is a creative wordsmith who was drawn to music as a child. began to pursue his long-held passion for storytelling. After becoming sidelined by a basketball injury in college, he began to pursue his long-held passion for storytelling. Since, his world and career have been soaring at new heights rapidly and we couldn’t be happier!
FRE$H TAPS IN TO MORE THAN THE MUSIC
Additionally, his craft was inspired by Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan’s films which influenced him to teach himself how to write scripts. This hobby led to the discovery of the Oakland, CA native’s voice as it honed his craft enabling him to pen creative and versatile rhymes.
Also, Fre$h works relentlessly for his mother’s charity, The Akonadi Foundation, whose purpose is to encourage the creation of powerful social change movements to end structural racism.
Although he cites JAY-Z as his main influence, he also dabbles with pop-punk like Green Day and Blink-182.
He drew equal influence from the abovementioned filmmakers as he did from hip-hop trailblazers like Drake and Post Malone.
In 2020, Fre$h made his musical debut with his hit single, “Champagne Cry,” which featured multi-platinum artist Tee Grizzley. The record set the industry on fire. It garnered such great feedback after premiering on WorldStar. In fact, the visual currently sits at 5 million views and counting.
“I’m a thoughtful introvert, so my music is where I really express myself. I’m quiet, but I put my emotions into my music. When you listen, I want you to feel like you can relate. I want to speak to your pain, your joy, and your love. Society leads us to believe we have all of these differences, but we all still have to wake up each day and deal with what life throws at us. We all have that in common with one another”.
When it comes to the film side of his career, the multi talented rhymer recently dropped off a new project. His latest film production comes as an award-winning short film called Sins of the Father. In addition to generating a great film, he’s the mastermind behind it all as he wrote, directed, and produced the project. With official selections from the Toronto Independent Film Festival and the Paris Independent Film Festival, among others, the short continues to hit the festival circuit by storm.
