Rich The Kid will always be one of the few rappers who can command respect from anyone. With a Rolodex as long as his bankroll, he earned the respect of rap’s A-List with his versatile sound. Updating a track from earlier this summer with a new verse from Polo G, Rich The Kid shares “Prada” (Remix). Produced by Spaceking and ADHD, “Prada” is a fiercely ominous banger, marked by a walking, low-note piano bassline, 808 cowbells, and rollicking hi-hats. Rocking a rapid-fire triplet flow, Rich The Kid attacks the beat headfirst. Moreover, counting his bands and sneers at those who can’t shop at the same stores as him. “Think he flexin’, but this old drip/I’m tryna buy a brick with poker chips/Blow a bag at Saks, can’t go to Barney’s/I got too many racks on me” spits Rich.
Rich The Kid & Polo G Are A Fire Duo
Delivering a brand new verse, Polo G sounds perfectly at home over the drill-influenced instrumental. Moreover, eschewing melody as he snarls a vicious warning to anyone standing in his way. “Make that 40 go bang, we put his ass in the grave/And they wish they could go dig him out” exclaims the rapper.
Born in New York, Rich The Kid moved to Atlanta in the early 10s and quickly became a major player in the scene, recording full-length mixtapes with Migos and making his name on the streets with his own tapes like Keep Flexin. The rapper broke out in a big way with 2018’s The World Is Yours, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and included his hit tracks, 3x RIAA Platinum “Plug Walk” and 2x RIAA Platinum “New Freezer” ft. Kendrick Lamar. Last year, Rich The Kid stayed busy, releasing his solo project Boss Man and collaborating with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the full-length Nobody Safe.
Rich The Kid is currently in “album mode”. He is preparing for his next project, which is sure to feature big names and an array of bangers. Lastly, stream the new record “Prada” below!
