Morray is someone who can take you by surprise with the heart in his voice. Although pain is something that all of us face, Morray shares it uniquely. After seeing him live at Rolling Loud Miami this year, it was clear he is a star. Fortunately, the “Quicksand” singer/songwriter is now on tour with fellow Fayetteville recording artist J. Cole. After his standout performance on Cole’s previous album, it was only fitting. His newest single, “Bad Situations,” shows a grateful side of the humble star. On the new track, he sings Morray in his signature melodic flow. “Bad Situations” is Morray’s second new song since the release of his debut album Street Sermons, following “Mime,” which appears on the official soundtrack for Madden 22.
With Street Sermons and his newfound position as an XXL Freshman, Morray culminates his meteoric rise and proves that he’s ready to build an artistic legacy and a nest egg for his wife and kids. For an artist with Morray’s talent, the sky is the limit. This summer, Morray performed “Quicksand” on Jimmy Kimmel Live and was highlighted by Rolling Stone as the “Best Debut” performer at Rolling Loud Festival in Miami.
