Lil Baby calls for change in latest single,”The Bigger Picture.”

Lil Baby breaks his silence amidst rising protests with his latest track “The Bigger Picture.” The Atlanta rapper addresses the current nationwide turmoil due to unjust murders of Breyonna Taylor, George Floyd, and many more at the hands of police.

Produced by Section 8 and NOAH, the song begins with samples from protest chants and news clips. Throughout the song, Lil Baby talks about the system at large that has created this unrest while expressing that it is time to make a change and take action.

This bullshit is all that we know/ but it’s time for a change
Got time to be serious/no time for no games
We ain’t takin’ no more/let us go from them chains
God bless they souls/every one of them names

Representatives of Lil Baby’s team and posts from the rapper’s Instagram state that the proceeds from “The Bigger Picture” will go to The National Association of Black Journalists, Breonna Taylor’s attorney, The Bail Project, and Black Lives Matter.
