Honoring the one-year anniversary of his passing, Juice WRLD’s legacy continues on, “Reminds Me Of You” featuring The KID LAROI. Following the release of his posthumous album, Legends Never Die, the track marks the third collaboration between Juice WRLD and TKL.
Originally, “Reminds Me Of You” was written by singer-songwriter, Kim Petras and co-produced by Dr. Luke. The track lyricizes the memories about their exes detailing the nostalgic pain of past memories and experiences. Additionally, the track expresses the struggles of holding on and being held back by a past lover.
I can’t play that song ’cause it reminds me of you / I can’t watch that show ’cause it reminds me of you / I can’t even go there, it reminds me of you / I don’t wanna do that, it reminds me of you
Overall, “Reminds Me Of You” expresses post-traumatic issues of a relationship haunted by memories that are hard to forget. Throughout the track, both reminisce about their exes that cause them depressive thoughts about how their relationship was.
