Coolin’ Cal Drops a Modern Day Love Song with “Lose You”

Coolin’ Cal, a DMV native now residing in Los Angeles is renowned for his ability to flow between rapping and singing as shown on his latest single “Lose You.” A very chill song over an acoustic guitar melody, “Lose You” features Tre Savels and Renee Couto giving it a more soulful, earnest feel. The song serves as one of those mellow rap songs about holding on to a love through the trials of a relationship. “Lose You” is Cal’s eighth single as a solo artist in which he continues to grow his fanbase and expertise with each record. With experience playing several instruments, being a part of hip hop group Concept Collective and a budding career as a solo artist, Cal is well on his way to making his mark.

“I want this song to make people feel like no matter what they’re going through in a relationship or how difficult things have gotten, they can’t lose faith. As long as y’all got each other and can work through the pain and struggles together it’ll all work out in the end “ An experience most individuals can relate to in some shape or form. “Lose You” is a love song in the modern-day, with smooth lines and a melody you can feel. Be sure to stream the new song below.
