Apple Celebrates 2020 Apple Music Awards

Yesterday, December 14th, the second annual Apple Music Awards started celebrating the winners with the release of exclusive performances, virtual events, intimate interviews and more. Streaming worldwide via Apple Music, Apple TV and the Apple TV app.

The Apple Music Awards will be recognizing the boldest musicians of 2020 across five categories. Tune in until December 18th to meet the winners, hear their music, and learn their stories. The winners were chosen through a process that reflects Apple Music’s editorial view and what most consumers around the world are loving.

Global Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Breakthrough Artist of the Year were hand-picked by Apple Music’s global editorial team, which consists of world-class experts and tastemakers. Top Song of the Year and Top Album of the Year was based on streaming data that reflects what Apple Music subscribers have been listening to this year.
