TeeJay3k Offers Up Impressive ‘Soul Searching’ Album

The average outsider thinking of hip-hop in Broward County, Florida will say it’s the home of notable rapper, Kodak Black. However, looking in, you’ll see TeeJay3k making his way to the top. As a matter of fact, the Pompano Beach emcee just dropped off his debut album, Soul Searching. It consists of twelve carefully curated songs. The project features Mozzy, Quando Rondo, Lil Poppa, and Cyko.

In June, TeeJay3k dropped the music video for “Bad Vibes,” gaining over half a million views. Moreover, TeeJay’s most recent release is “No Friends” featuring Quando Rondo. The video not only hit 400K in three weeks, but landed the Florida rapper on Apple Music’s top charts. Not to mention, he was featured on the “Emo Rap” and “The Plug” playlists as well.

Although Soul Searching has many good songs, “FWMB” and “Foreign” are standout cuts. The songs find TeeJay soaking up his success while putting his past behind him. It’s a follow-up to Since Jit Days, which dropped back in February. With his latest release, we get a deep, short-lived glimpse at who TeeJay3k really is.

“This project is very heartfelt. Basically, if you ever went through something, you can relate. But it’s also about how I put my past behind me and made a name for myself,” TeeJay3k states. Listen to Soul Searchin below!
