Booka600 is becoming a rising star in his native city of Chicago and beyond. His melodic instincts and empathetic songwriting approach that carry influences of his mentor Lil Durk, show the world that he is soon a force to be reckoned with. Coming through with a mournful, yet triumphant drill ballad, Booka shares “iRap” and announces his upcoming Home•Less EP arriving on April 20th.
“iRap” finds Booka wielding a soft auto-tuned croon, offering a balance of touching observations, subtle flexes, and sorrowful reflections paired along dramatic pianos: “Understand a grind, it’s not a race for the figures,” he sings.
The EP is produced by Internet Money producer TouchOfTrent whose sounds have appeared on tracks for Lil Durk, Trevor Daniel, DeRez and De’Shon.
