West Coast lyric maven Yaarb debuts a six-track EP titled “Letter To The Streets;” where the artist pays homage to the environment that raised him with versatile production and gritty wordplay.
While the main subject of the tape focuses on his own experiences, the overall message that Yaarb wants audiences to take away is “that it’s okay to be yourself and love yourself;” no matter their environment and circumstances.”
Yaarb was born and raised in the City of Compton California; with great manifestation and long nights, he’s gained much success as an artist. Also, a public figure in his community with acts such as toy drives and backpack giveaways.
He’s inspired mainly by the late Michael Jackson; the Compton rapper Leroy Yarbough has reached many with his versatile sound being able to make both slow jams and party anthems.
Yaarb plans to continue to be “The Heart of The Streets” and give back to his community in every way he possibly can. The long-term plan is to take his music to the next level and onto a bigger platform.
“Letter To The Streets” is a nice introduction to an artist looking to be around for a long time. He is primed to drop more music soon.
