New York’s Will Diaz Is Up Next

Coming out of Queen’s, New York, at just nineteen years of age, Will Diaz proves he not only has the potential but an assurance to be one of New York’s best new artists. With his open-minded approach towards unique beats and melodies, Diaz proves he can make records despite genres whether its rap, dance hall, or Latin trap elements.

New York as a whole has seen an immense change in its rap music scene. From its early and mid-2000’s lyrical and hardcore elements era with artists such as Mobb Deep, Redman, and DMX. To a now more melodic based era with artists such as J.I. the Prince of N.Y., Lil Tjay, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie among others. As for Will, he doesn’t conform to any specific style by mixing various genres in his sound. From utilizing an array of styles, Will separates himself from being compared by incorporating various sounds.
