Get To Know Guap Tarantino: FBG’s Heavy Hitter

The Legendary Nights Tour is easily the biggest Hip-Hop tour of the year. With A-list headlining acts like Future, Meek Mill, Megan Thee Stallion, YG, and more it is one of the hottest tickets on the market. During the Washington D.C. stop, we had the pleasure of having a face to face conversation with Freebandz artist Guap Tarantino. The Freebandz Gang affiliate talked about performing during the tour, some of his favorite songs to perform, and his newest tape Charge Em Up! Check out our awesome conversation before his performance below.

Guap Tarantino explained that every time he steps on the stage, it is a magical moment. He even went as far as to say there are so many “legendary” moments outside of performing that have helped him grow as an artist already.

As many of the FBG fans know, Guap is Future’s cousin. This does not mean that his road is paved with gold. He mentioned how excited he was to finally be getting the recognition he deserves and how ready he is to thrive with his newfound spotlight. Guap claims that touring and making money with his family is something that now feels surreal.

Guap’s new tape Charge Em Up is jampacked with smash records. When asked what his best track was off his latest effort, he was hard-pressed to find an answer. He asserted how hard it is to choose just one, but his outro song “Casual” is one of his favorites at the moment.

Lastly, Guap Tarantino explained how dope it is to collaborate with many of Atlanta’s hottest artists in the studio. He has trunk-rattling records with ATL’s own Money Man, Lil Keed, and even Lil Gotit. Guap does not plan on slowing down anytime soon. He is also excited to finish the tour and get back to the music.
