Can you imagine being locked up and seeing one of your brothers taking the music industry by storm? Doe Boy painfully rapped, “I wake up every day like this ain’t fair n*gga, I’m watching Future on TV, I should be there with him” on his brutally honest homage to FBG leader, Future. Listening to songs like Letter To Future immediately showed me not only what type of artist but what type of man Doe Boy is. The East Cleveland bred rapper is someone who will not be denied. He exudes confidence and humility. When you have been through the trials and tribulations he has, you have no choice but to come out with a different view of life.

Coming off the high of his Billboard Top 40 hit 100 Shooters and the Legendary Nights Tour, Doe Boy is ready for the next level. The new single featuring both Meek Mill & Future created a moment for fans of both headliners all over the country. Read our refreshingly honest conversation below.

Besides Machine Gun Kelly & Bone Thugs & Harmony, there are not many rappers who make it in the entertainment industry. Doe Boy claims that his life experiences growing up in East Cleveland was all of the inspiration he needed to create the music that he does. Next, when asked what song would he want a new listener to start with, he claims that his track Mood details his life story.

“Future is my brother. We forever locked in. He put me in a position to win and I’m forever grateful for that. If he doesn’t like you I hate you straight up” – Doe Boy

Doe Boy’s summer smash 100 Shooters featuring Future & Meek Mill peaked at 39 on Billboard. I heard the song everywhere this summer, and it served as one of the best moments of the sold-out Legendary Nights Tour. Doe says the song was Future’s idea! Furthermore, when he heard it, he knew that it was the exact energy that was necessary to shut the summer down. This song is the perfect full-circle moment following his heartfelt track Letter To Future. The FBG boss can be heard telling Doe Boy that he is up next on the passion-filled track/

Honestly, FreeBandz Gang is more of a family than a label. They are all very tightknit. If you have a problem with one, you have a problem with all of them. Doe Boy explains that within 5 years, you will see a substantial rise from the already successful conglomerate. In other words, their willingness to dedicate endless hours to the studio has helped them stay successful.

“It’s time for me to push the gas pedal and show I’m the best to ever do this. 2020 is gonna be my biggest year”- Doe Boy

Fans should look forward to seeing more candid videos of Doe Boy on his social media. Moreover, these videos serve as a balance from his hardcore lyrics. Doe has a tough-guy image in his music. 2020 should prove to be a huge year for Doe Boy with his new project coming out. As a result, the Cleveland born artist claims that it is his time to put his foot on the gas. He is ready to show why he is one of the best rappers in the industry.
